Igor Sirkovich is a Senior FHIR Implementation Consultant and Senior Integration & Solution Architect with 25 years of experience. 

He has extensive knowledge of health informatics standards: FHIR (including US Core, Da Vinci, Blue Button, CARIN BB), HL7 v2 & v3, CDA, IHE and Clinical Terminologies (SNOMED-CT, LOINC, ICD-9, ICD-10). Igor’s work experience includes senior consulting roles at the Ministry of Health of Ontario (Canada), Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Smile CDR, TELUS Health Solutions, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, eHealth Ontario and dbMotion.

Mr. Sirkovich is a chair of the Canadian FHIR Solution Architecture group and a lead of the Canadian FHIR Baseline Medications and Immunizations streams. In Canada, he had created FHIR Implementation Guides and led design and development of FHIR APIs for public health, pharmacy / medication management, client registry, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, referral, patient summary and other clinical domains. In the US, Igor led the design of provider registry FHIR APIs based on DaVinci PDEX Plan Net specification and co-authored CARIN Consumer Directed Payer Data Exchange (CARIN for Blue Button®) FHIR Implementation Guide.
